Hideout Festival has long been one of the most exciting and original festivals to have occupied Zrce Beach in Croatia, with a seemingly endless number of them now returning every year. Hideout, however, keeps itself one step ahead with a lineup and a long line of other activities to make the almost week long trip one that you won’t forget.
This year the festival played host to a number of branded parties including Elrow and Secretsundaze, as well as nothing but world class selectors, some of the cream of the crop being Jamie Jones, J.E.S.U.S, Jamie XX and The Martinez Brothers. Another fond partner of Hideout Festival is the BBC, who returned to the collection of coastline parties this year to stream two of their resident DJs’ shows live and direct.
The first of the two that went out to the British public on radio and to the rest of the world online was B. Traits. During the three hour show you can hear sets from the host herself as well Dutchman Tom Trago and Alan Fitzpatrick. This is a must for techno fans as it’s non-stop energy from the outset. The second to air was Monki, with a show gearing toward a more house and garage edge. There are sets from Riton, ANOTR and Monki, with a heavier edge coming in toward the final part of the live recording.
