August Bank Holiday Weekend in London is already renowned for a number of festivals taking place throughout the weekend in all corners of the city. On Bank Holiday Monday however, a one off event will be coming to Clapham Common, during which one of Britain’s most loved Ska bands will put in a headline performance alongside a number of special guests. Make way for Madness and their House Of Common.
Performing for the love of common people, Madness will indeed be coming to Clapham Common on Monday 29th August for a one-day festival of fun. Kicking off at 12pm and lasting until late evening, the festival will welcome the band in question for a headline performance, during which they will be singing a brand new never before heard Madness original. Of course, they will also be playing all the classics you would come to expect.
Joining Madness will be a selection of special guests, many of which are affiliated with the band themselves, so expect a day full of fun sound tracked by feel good music and hopefully, some sun.
