The latest edition of the Drop The Mustard (Friday 18th October) sees two of the most talked about British Producers and DJ’s of 2013 return to the decks in the form of Maribou State. Describing themselves as ‘two music making, tea drinking boys from the Shire’, the boys have captivated listeners throughout the electronic scene by creating their own unique, exciting and melodic sounds.
2013 has seen them rise in popularity with their releases Praise You (Skint Records) a remix of the Fatboy Slim classic and Tongue EP (Southern Fried Records) receiving much critical acclaim, adding to their ever growing global fan base and attracting demand for Maribou State outside the UK and across the likes of Europe and Australia. A recent performance for the Boiler Room with The Two Bears has thrust the duo even further into the limelight. Maribou State are not to be missed.
Merging a mixture techno/house/garage and dub step artists under the same roof; Drop The Mustard have earned themselves a loyal following of intelligent, youthful ravers. Supported by the likes of Pedestrian, a resident at the house and bass music night Trix (London), DTM residents Ed Norris AKA Sax Offender, Oli Hacket and Sam Graham will be on warm up duties from the start.
