This week, Mint Festival announced that this year’s event would no longer be taking place at the originally proposed venue, Lightwater Valley. Instead, the one-day affair that features some of Mint Clubs most prosperous brands and past guests will now be hosted at Lincolnshire Showground.
In a statement by the festival on Facebook, an apology has been made to all who have already bought tickets that will be affected by this change. As the move to Lincolnshire Showground sees an increase in venue capacity, there will be further extras employed that include a larger number of shuttle buses that will be in “constant flow”, as well as many more food vendors, bars, token dispensers and chill out areas.
The change in venue has not however affected the line up. There is still a great amount of names to look forward to seeing in the new surroundings including Loco Dice, Dyed Soundorom, Jamie Jones, Maceo Plex, Paul Van Dyk, Sander Van Doorn and Skream amongst many others. The performances will be accentuated with Mint Festivals usual state of the art visuals and sound in 8 arenas throughout the festival site.
