It’s time for Mint Sessions to take up arms and return to Mint Club on the 29th of January, ready for another season of midweek frolics with weekly guests from across the house music spectrum returning to treat the intimate Thursday crowds.
After a season that saw the likes of DJ Sneak, Inland Knights and Ninetoes do their thing under the rainbow ceiling, the guys behind the event have called upon another ripe selection of guests who will see us through 8 weeks of music and dancing Mint Sessions style.

The series will open with Cocoon tech head wAFF, who has had made himself a huge back catalogue of impressive music over a relatively short period of time. From early favourites like ‘Jo Johnson’ to the newer, harder hitting edges of ‘Groover’ and ‘Puke It Up’, wAFF style is becoming unmistakable and has earned him releases on some of the world most revered labels as a result.
Breach will take to the decks for week 2, the young aficionado who gained his first number one single a few years back with the loopy, body jacking, appropriately named ‘Jack’. Geordie hotshot Patrick Topping will follow, a name who has risen to the heavens this year and it’s no surprise. His recognisable bass and drum groove has been flooding dance floors worldwide and will continue to do so for some time. Resident of The Year Darius Syrossian will also be making an appearance, the determined local star who has resurrected and restored the iconic Sankeys night Tribal Sessions to its former glory and beyond.
The week after brings with it a special guest who is yet to be announced, before Mint Club regular Prism joins forces with Mint Sessions for week 6, when Secondcity and a further guest will take to the ones and twos. One of last season’s favourites will be returning for the penultimate week in Josh Butler, who will be joined by friend Bontan, with whom he collaborated on his chart topping single released in 2013. The final party of the year will bring a further surprise, rounding off what will be a lively season of sessions indeed.
Mint Sessions Tickets are now on sale for all events between January and March 2015.
