After the huge Landed In The Park Festival two years ago, the team are back for 2016. This time at Mote Park in Kent Saturday 2nd July, when they will host a day and evening long party featuring MK and his world renowned club brand Area 10. For this ten hour stretch, MK will play alongside some of his close friends and peers on a single festival stage that will see Kent flood with house music in the midst of summertime in the same spirit as it did in 2014, back at Millennium Park.
Headlining the affair will of course be Mark Kinchen, or MK, as he is known on the international dance music circuit. As the fabricator of dance music chart toppers like Piece Of Me and Bring Me To Life as well as all time classics such as Burning and Always, MK has been one of Detroit’s jewels in its crown of accomplished dance music artists. The Area 10 man is one of the most respected old school figures as he has also managed to keep his presence strong in the world of electronic music today. His Area 10 party has visited several venues the world over, with this party in Kent bringing with it his unmistakable sound and back catalogue of edits and remixes.
Joining MK will be a collection of his favourite artists, which for this party include the Berlin born DJ and producer Oliver Dollar. This individual has been making waves for a few years with his singles on labels like Play It Down and Defected, the latter of which put out his 2014 anthem Pushin On, which, alongside Jimi Jules, saw Oliver become the most Shazamed artist in Ibiza during the year of release. Second on the bill is Ben Pearce, who has been playing across the globe since his single What I Might Do saw him shoot from being relatively unknown to being one of the most in demand names in dance music.
There are a number of other guests who are yet to be announced, however this should be enough to give fans of feel good, vocal house music reason to get a ticket straight away.
