The first wave of artists set to grace Field Day in 2017 have been announced, with Moodymann, Nicolas Jaar, Death Grips, Jon Hopkins and many more joining Aphex Twin and Flying Lotus on the bill.

Detroit legend Kenny Dixon Jr, aka Moodymann leads the way among the latest lineup additions. Known for creating records with tangible levels of atmosphere, the enigmatic producer and DJ will be in good company alongside the additions of Jon Hopkins and Nicolas Jaar. Experimental hip-hop trio Death Grips will make a rare UK appearance at Field Day, while Moderat and the the seismic sounding Forest Swords also join the lineup. Moving away from the heavyweight dance and electronica additions, Kevin Morby, Whitney, Slowdive and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard will also feature at the festival.
There will no short supply of dance floor friendly material on rotation over the course of Field Day 2017 with Nina Kraviz, Hunee, Marcel Dettmann, Midland also set to appear.
