Since Nightvision began in Edinburgh last year, a number of exciting DJs have made debuts in the city, not to mention having coined some of the biggest club shows the city has ever seen. To celebrate the end of series 4, Nightvision will be bringing two of the most renowned DJs in house and techno to play out the season at The Liquid Room, which has been the main Hedquaters for the party since the beginning.
Series 4 of Nightvision has already welcomed the likes of Skream, DJ EZ, Tale Of Us, Âme, Paranoid London and many others, however on Friday 29th April it will go one step further as the brand brings Hot Creations kingpin Jamie Jones and Drumcode boss Adam Beyer to play.
Amongst the many labels that are currently making waves in both house and techno, Hot Creations and Drumcode are definitely at the top of the list in each. Jamie Jones begun as a minimal techno master, with the track Summertime kicking off his career almost 10 years ago. Since then he has managed to lead the way in the new world of house music, with his weekly DC10 residency Paradise, hugely popular label and band Hot Natured, he has conquered the dance music world.
In a similar feat, techno has also had a major boost in popularity during the past 2 years, with Drumcode and Adam Beyer seeming to be at the forefront. With huge gigs at Tobacco Dock and other LWE parties, regular showcases in other parts of the UK and a fearsome label donning releases from wAFF, Alan Fitzpatrick and Ben Sims, it’s a force to be reckoned with.
There are still a number of other DJs to join Jamie and Adam, who will be playing upstairs and downstairs respectively, however this should be enough to fully get your attention, as it’s definitely got ours.
