French producer Martin Bresso aka Tchami will be crossing the channel for a special show at Electric Brixton on Friday 25th November, bringing a touch of his popular house music to our capital. A success story thanks to tracks like “Promesses” and his edit of Janet Jackson’s “Go Deep”, the producer and DJ has earned rave reviews during support slots at Diplo, Skrillex and DJ Snake tours, putting him in a position to brush shoulders with the biggest names in electronic music.
Bresso’s breakthrough came with “Promesses”, which was originally released as a free single but soon got snapped up by Ministry of Sound, propelling Tchami into the public spotlight back in 2015. Now a three-time releaser on the Fool’s Gold Clubhouse imprint that gave him his first break, Tchami has become a big hit across Europe, with almost 50 million plays on YouTube. A big draw for fans of the future house that he specialises in, Tchami can look forward to a busy night at the Brixton venue if previous UK visits are to be believed.
Electric Brixton will also welcome The Magician, a DJ and producer from Belgium, in support. His track “Sunlight” was a big hit in 2014, and you might know him as the man behind some magical remixes of Lykke Li and Clean Bandit. Check the pair out this November.
