Outlook Festival will be taking to Fort Punta Christo once again in 2015 as a rally of the worlds greatest sound system collectives, DJs, live artists and more come together to create what is now Europe’s biggest bass music and sound system festival.
Previous years at Outlook have only got bigger and better, with this years line up compromising some of the greatest and most influential figures in the worlds of reggae, dub, hip-hop, drum & bass, house, dancehall and more. To make the line up even more spectacular, each artist will be performing in some of the most unique and visually stunning environments you will have ever seen at a festival of this type.
An opening concert, which will be welcoming Jurassic 5, Roni Size Reprazent, Gentleman’s Dub Club and the Trojan Sound System will mark the start of the festival inside one of the largest 2000 year old Roman Amphitheatres in existence. Aside from this spectacular inaugural event for Outlook 2015, other arenas include a 100m long ‘Moat Arena’ (pictured below), ‘The Void’, ‘Noah’s Ballroom’ and ‘Mungo’s Arena’, which is powered by the mighty Mungo’s Hi Fi sound system.
The likes of Iration Steppas, Channel One, O.B.F and Jah Shaka have all brought their sound systems to Outlook festival in the past, with many of these appearing this year also. Musically, you can expect the likes of SBTRKT alongside hip-hop all-stars such as Pete Rock, J Rocc and P Money who’ll be bringing their individual styles to each of the Outlook stages, with dub favourites DMZ, the master of garage DJing EZ, drum & bass honcho Goldie, junglist Congo Natty, house hero Moodymann and multi genre selectors such as Norman Jay all putting in stellar performances, with so many more appearing throughout the 5 days Outlook Festival will be up and running in September.
