Paul van Dyk and Vini Vici are the first acts to have been announced for the 2017 Dreamstate London event. The event will be the UK debut for Insomniac’s multi-sensory project when it takes place on Saturday 4th March, and is the work of the team behind the globally recognised EDC festival.
Grammy award-winner Paul van Dyk is one of the original superstar DJs, having watched his trance productions sell millions of copies across the world. Believing in the importance of dance music in a political context as well as simply a backdrop for partying, the German has been relentlessly touring for decades, but was forced to take an extended hiatus this year after sustaining serious injuries during a performance in Utrecht. Returning to his career this summer, the EDM legend is now back in fighting fitness, and will make a perfect headliner for the definitive trance party. Dynamic duo Vini Vici will serve as an excellent accompaniment.
The Dreamstate experience has already been successful in Mexico, Australia, New York, San Francisco and Las Vegas, encompassing all shades of trance in one event with progressive, uplifting and psytrance all well represented. The first UK instalment will take place at O2 Academy Brixton, and tickets are already selling quickly.
