On August Bank Holiday weekend, the RAMM team is bringing a number of exciting acts to Vox Warehouse Leeds to see off the summer in style. As one of the most attractive warehouse venues in the city, Vox has seen a number of impressive events over the years such as Crosstown Rebels’ Rebel Rave and Subdub. Now on the 24th August, Dirtybird front man Claude VonStroke will be gracing the decks alongside a number of other exciting established and local acts.
Claude VonStroke is currently one of the most in demand artists on the underground scene along with his label Dirtybird, an imprint that has regularly seen a number of the most played club tracks of the past few years. Hailing from Toronto in Canada, VonStroke has produced a collection of unequivocal club hits such as ‘The Clapping Track’, ‘Who’s Afraid Of Detroit’ and ‘The Whistler’, numbers that have been championed by the likes of Matthias Tanzmann, Frank Lorber and Edwin Oosteral to name just a few. His label Dirtybird has been a front for a plethora of innovative and exciting sounds, fusing the foundations of house and techno with aspects of hip-hop, rap and other bass lead styles of music. Known even for dropping the odd drum & bass track in the middle of a set, Claude VonStroke is a DJ who always surprises with his unique way of playing, and he will be sure to shake Vox Warehouse’s dance floor to the core on the 24th August. Check out his newest upcoming release below now.
Joining Claude VonStroke will be two exquisite chunks of local talent in the form of Josh Butler and Audiojack. Having lived in Leeds for the past five years, Josh has been making a name for himself as one of the most exciting young British producers of today, relentlessly unreeling top quality club tracks one after the other. His productions have been highlights in the sets of many DJs such as Darius Syrossian, Jay Lumen, Leftwing & Kody and Oliver Koletzki to name just a few, with the Bontan and Pleasurekraft remix of his track ‘Got A Feeling’ even rocketing to commercial success. Audiojack have also been in the Leeds limelight for a long while, performing memorable sets at Back To Basics on a number of occasions alongside many dates at other reputable nights around the UK. Expect bouncy bass and tough beats from both the young DJs, a perfect accompaniment to headliner VonStroke.
Filthy Rich is the fourth guest who will be coming to Vox Warehouse on August 24th. With a plethora of well-received tracks from the last few years such as ‘Hustle Up’ and ‘Rock The Disco’ on revered labels like OFF Recordings, Great Stuff, Toolroom and Domino Effect, he is a well-respected artist and will be bringing serious noise to RAMM’s Bank Holiday party. Also joining the line-up will be a number of exciting local DJs, Matt Fear, Kreature, Marco Darko, Real Nice, S. Jay and Ostertag, rounding off what is looking to be a great night of music.
