Holding home in Newcastle’s Times Square, Digital is one of the UK’s best large clubs having won a number of awards from a several revered musical institutions such as DJ Mag, Mixmag and the BEDA Awards. Rub a Dub Dub have been at the forefront of clubbing in Newcastle when it comes to drum & bass and electro since the brand was established in 2007. Put these two together and you have the setting for a club night that is already guaranteed to be something special.
On Friday the 4th of December, Rub a Dub Dub will be hosting one of drum & bass’ most influential figures at Digital in Newcastle, that character being the one and only Andy C. Having DJ’d since 1989 Andy is a seasoned veteran when it come to mixing. Not only that, he is also the spearhead behind one of drum & bass’ finest labels, Ram Records. With Loadstar, Chase & Status, Wilkinson and Sub Focus all signed to Ram, the calibre of music present on it is clear, however the limelight here focuses on Andy’s innate DJing skills, which he can sustain through performances that regularly last over 6 hours.
Digital Newcastle will be welcoming Andy C on December 4th when he will bring his world renowned turntablist skills and extensive selection of dance floor tested tunes to the main room, no doubt slaying it from start to finish.
Andy C’s All Night Long tour will be visiting a number of other venues around the UK over the coming months. Brixton’s O2 Academy, The Rainbow Venues in Birmingham and The Warehouse Project will all be playing host to The Executioner between now and December.
