Sankeys are bringing the sound of the Big Apple to its spiritual home in Manchester. Since opening in October last year, the New York version has been turning heads across the pond with some stellar line up’s and parties. But since announcing the return to Manchester, it seemed inevitable that they’re might a stateside style party in the Beehive Mill.
Viva Warriors regular Darius Syrossian and German groove master Sidney Charles are the most recognisable names so far to be announced. Routine Sankeys goers will no need introduction to what Syrossian is all about. His rise and rise over the past few years has seen him take residential status in Ibiza and receive a nomination for best new producer by DJ Mag in 2012.
Sidney Charles has been making waves for some time now, despite being relatively young he knows his way round the scene and has appeared at nights all over Europe. February also sees him take a trip to Leeds to appear along Josh Butler at Mint, as part of the Prism series. Representing the city that never sleeps, will be Antonio Piacquadio and Dave Rosario
Sankeys New York will be something to surely check out over the coming years as it will clearly go from strength to strength, but for now they are bring the NYC vibe to Manchester. Early birds have now sold out and tickets are priced at £15.00 for the advanced discount.
