London Warehouse Events have announced one of their biggest shows to date as they have unveiled that a special extended back-to-back performance will be taking place at one of their favourite places to party, Tobacco Dock on Saturday the 2nd of April 2016.
SIDEXSIDE tickets are on sale now.
This event, dubbed SIDEXSIDE will see back to back performances from some of the biggest music artists on the planet, with chances to see these kinds of combinations either very rare or in this case, never before seen. SIDEXSIDE will be welcoming three heavyweights from the worlds of house and techno in Carl Cox, Joris Voorn and Seth Troxler, each hosting their own room and whom will invite specially selected guests to play side by side across the course of the party.
Firstly we have Carl Cox, the undeniable king of Ibiza who will be ending his 15-year residency at Space Ibiza this year with one last season of parties. Carl will take over the Great Gallery room. As the pioneer of 3 deck mixing, Carl Cox grew from playing rare funk to techno with the addition of a third deck setting him apart from other DJs in his league. Now being known for his peak time, bouncy tech house performances, Cox will no doubt use this extended slot to dig deep and pull out some records he may not have had the chance to play for a very long time.
Taking over the Car Park will be Seth Troxler. Voted as the best DJ in the world numerous times by Resident Advisor and still going strong in the Top 10, Troxler is akin to playing all night long performances and intertwines house classics with dark techno that has been tried and tested on the worlds dance floors numerous times.
Finally we have Joris Voorn, a tech house extraordinaire who has also been known for his extended performances, most notably his 9+ hour performances at Trouw in Amsterdam, he'll be in charge of proceedings in the Little Gallery. As a superior producer Voorn has crafted some unbelievably emotional tracks on his recent album, however that doesn’t mean he can’t fabricate a dance floor gem, as he has many, many of those too.
The three of these DJs might seem completely different, but that’s part of the excitement. Take Cox’s peak time bounce, Troxler’s winding dark synths and Joris Voorn’s ability to create beautiful melodies and you will have something rather spectacular when teamed up with their yet to be announced special guests.
