Since South West Four’s Saturday announcement we have been eager to find out whom the festival would be bringing to Clapham Common to headline on the Sunday. The initial announcement revealed that the first day of the two would be headlined by Faithless, the British dance legends, who until last week had retired from live performance, however this homecoming gig will see the super group’s return. Also announced were the likes of Luciano, Eric Prydz, Nic Fanciulli, Bakermat, Black Coffee and Dubfire.
Today, the curtain was drawn to reveal that Sunday’s headliner would be the gritty, bass heavy, dubstep king Skrillex. Known for his mechanical sound and six Grammy Awards he has become one of the most well known dance artists of today and will be causing a serious ruckus at The Common on Sunday 30th August.
Aside from the announcement of the headliner there have been a further number of DJs and live performers added to the bill, these include the powerhouse French trio Apollonia, Drumcode techno titan Adam Beyer, Loco Dice, Maya Jane Coles and some of Drum & Bass’ finest in Andy C, Sub Focus and Wilkinson, the latter of the two will be performing live.
Saturday and weekend tickets are currently on sale.
Tickets for Sunday will go on sale at 09:00am Wednesday 25th February.
