Slam Dunk has been an integral park of Leeds rock music scene for ten years. Since their first festival, aside from their weekly club nights at The Cockpit, which has now closed its doors, the institution has grown to become Leeds biggest rock event, outside of the obvious main contender.
On Saturday the 23rd of May, Leeds iconic Millennium Square will make way for Slam Dunk, who will close off the City Centre to bring a rally of rock giants to three venues, these being the Main Stage on the square itself, as well as the O2 Academy and the University Union.
Already on the line up were the likes of headliners You Me At Six, Lower Than Atlantis, Taking Back Sunday, Gallows, Reel Big Fish and The Wonder Years, however an army of new artists have joined the billing as of last week. Just announced to be joining the already huge line-up is: Don Brocco, The Bronx, While She Sleeps, Zebrahead, Emmure, Pvris, Transit, Such Gold, Thy Art Is Murder, Lightyear, Patent Pending, Big D & The Kids Table, A Loss For Words, Mariachi El Bronx, Trash Talk, The Color Morale and finally, Beartooth.
Slam Dunk Festival Tickets are still on sale, with an optional ticket type that will allow you entry to the After Party, which is yet to be announced.
