Rise Festival is the weeklong music festival that takes place high up amongst Les Deux Alpes in France, one of the most exciting ski resorts in Europe. Having already announced the likes of Jackmaster, Axel Boman, High Contrast, London Elektricity, Blonde and Skream it is already looking like a great week in one of the most surreal festival locations there is.
This week however, Rise Festival have announced a headline performance that will be a festival exclusive for this year. At 2600 metres from sea level on Rise Festival’s open-air stage, So Solid Crew (represented Lisa Mafia and Romeo) will be performing a string of classics that adds to an already huge bill of guests who stretch through house, hip-hop, drum & bass, techno and more, giving all music fans the chance to experience a music festival in a place they will have likely never been before. 21 Seconds To Go, Broken Silence and So Solid are just some of the many hits that So Solid Crew fathomed during their rule of the hip-hop charts in the UK during the early naughties. Fans of their music will be thrilled to hear that they will be headlining this years Rise Festival.
On top of this, Amy Becker, Applebottom, Benton, Mella Dee, Paleman and TCTS have all also been added to the lineup and join Artwork, Axel Boman, Benton, Blonde, Dynamite MC, Etherwood, Eton Messy DJs, Henry Krinkle, High Contrast, Jackmaster, Krywald & Farrer, London Elektricity, Lowqui MC, Metrik, Paleman, S.P.Y., Skream, The Goldenboy, Toyboy & Robin and Waverley on the bill.
Les Deux Alpes is a beautiful resort amongst the French Alpes that is breath taking all year round. With views for miles around from the mountaintop Panoramic Bar and a village that can only be described as immensely pretty, it is a festival venue like no other. Ice rinks, restaurants, bars, clubs and streets lined with decadent lodges and layers of snow will be where you live during the week at Les Deux Alpes, amongst which daytime parties will become all night long raves in Les Deux Alpes village venues.
It shouldn’t take much convincing for you to want to be at this week long festival in one of the most beautiful locations in the world, however if it was absolutely necessary, the reason to go could be reeled out for a long while, with the jaw dropping music featuring So Solid Crew as headliners bill being at the top of that list.
