South West Four’s initial line up announcement brought us the news that the likes of Rudimental, Dizzee Rascal, The Chemical Brothers, Above & Beyond, Paul Kalkbrenner, DJ EZ and MK would all be playing headline performances at the festival this year. With their musical direction now out in the open, its time to cement it further as we have been treated to phase two of the Clapham festival’s line up that will be taking to the Common on August Bank Holiday Weekend.
First to join the dance music giants will be Four Tet, the cross genre DJs and producers who have remixed the likes of Eric Prydz and Jamie XX, collaborated with Katy B and Floating Points and also provided original music under this alias and also Percussions. Dubstep collective Knife Party will be bringing their special live show 'The Crow' to the mainstage on the Saturday which promises to be a memorable performance. Booka Shade will also be appearing as they present their new project Movements X Live, with Bakermat and Fritz Kalkbrenner also playing. Crosstown Rebels boss Damian Lazarus will be performing alongside his band The Ancient Moons, with Faithless’ Sister Bill and the very talented Maribou State rounding off the second phase.
They will be joining the likes of Gorgon City, Netsky, Bondax, Amine Edge & DANCE, Joseph Capriati, Recondite, Sven Väth, Cirez D and Sasha in what is the biggest dance music festival to come to the capital every year.
