Made In Leeds Festival have just announced that the official 2015 festival after party will be taking place at The Warehouse after the main event, with Claude VonStroke, Steve Lawler, Back To Basics and a number of other festival headliners and brands set to provide the sounds after The Tetley has closed its gates.
The Warehouse is the oldest club in Leeds at 36 years since first opening, having been hugely influential in the UK’s second city for top quality nightlife, since the likes of Soft Cell and The Happy Mondays played there during its early years. With a long history of exceptional live bands and DJs who have played there, it is one of the most revered venues in the city today, with a brand new third room having just opened, dubbed The Garage.
The main room will be hosting 2 of the headliners from the main event, with Steve Lawler (pictured above for VIVa Warriors latest outing at the venue) and Claude VonStroke both putting in top of the bill performances. As well as these there will be a number of other special guests appearing, handpicked from the rally of artists who will be appearing at The Tetley just hours before. Check out Claude's brand new 10 years of Dirtybird Records mix below now.
Upstairs, The Loft will be hosted by Shine, who will be bringing some of their own DJs to play through the night, with Mark Holliday, Mark Alexander and Gary Dabill set to play here. The final room of the night will be hosted by Back To Basics, who have invited Mr. VonStroke to headline their arena at the main event. Here however, Basics will be hosting the new third room The Garage, with a number of their esteemed residents set appear throughout the night.
This after party will come after Made In Leeds Festival have finished their second instalment at The Tetley, after their inaugural year last year was celebrated amongst the cities music fans. This year the festival will be welcoming Miguel Campbell, System2, Denney, Tough Love, Ralph Lawson, Gez Varley, James Barnsley, Laura Jones, wAFF, Justin Robertson, and the after party guests. Put this with thrill rides, Jaeger stalls and boutique food and you have a day that is set to soar the festival to a new height.
