Another year, another Cocoon In The Park after-party, with the Leeds music spectacle again collaborating with system. to takeover Mint Warehouse on Saturday 9th July. Starting at 10pm and running through until the light of the day is well and truly underway at 6am, the night will see system. favourites alongside an as of yet unnamed headliner, with more names also soon to be released.
So far on the lineup, the founder of London’s cherished FUSE events goes b2b with one of the night’s residents as Enzo Siragusa shares the decks with Rossko. The two London lads have made waves as FUSE DJs over a good chunk of a decade, with label head Siragusa also enjoying success as a producer whilst Rossko joined an elite club of DJs famous only for their selections. The pair are a powerful combination, and will look to bring a touch of their hometown to the party up in Leeds.
As should be expected at any big system. party, Leeds locals and Mint residents Annie Errez and Bobby O’Donnell join the ranks, offering the acid-tinged house and techno that both have used to artfully tear apart clubs up and down the country. Both Annie and Bobby are prolific producers, each responsible for a warm array of deep, spacey bangers, but it’s their long-term affiliations with Mint as DJs that has earned them the plaudits as two of Leeds’ favourite selectors.
Whilst we don’t know who will be leading the party, we do know that festival curator Sven Väth has been a consistent performer in previous years, and with the headliner and more still to be announced, there’s no doubt that this after party will have the firepower to more than match its parent festival.
