Nightvision has long been one of the leading lights in Edinburgh’s ever growing club scene, having almost come to the end of their 3rd season of events that have been taking place across the city since September, having been incepted the previous year.
B.Traits, Oneman, Annie Mac and Hot Since 82 are amongst the names still to play before the end of the year, however on the 31st December, Nightvision will descend upon The Liquid Room once again to host a live performance from none other than Todd Terje, with a number of other guests set to perform.
The Norwegian music producer and DJ Todd Terje has been known for his summertime disco house pleasantries since the release of superlatively recognisable and danceable hits like Ragysh and Inspector Norse, both of which became club favourites and are still heard on dance floors all over the world today. Considered one of the most skilled faces in dance music that hail from Scandinavia, Todd Terje’s live performances have gone down as some of the best you can see.
Joining Terje will be British new-school house stalwart Huxley, who, like Todd Terje, has been responsible for some of the most heard dance records from the past few years, with Shower Scene, I Want You and Weapon. TCTS and Phonox’s esteemed resident Jasper James will also be joining him on the evening that will be ushering in 2016.
As if that wasn’t enough, there will also be appearances from a number of local artists and institutions including Hector’s House. This group of hard working party people have expanded their supreme Tuesday night knees up to Dundee and St. Andrews recetly, after growing their profile in Edinburgh through bringing the likes of Ralph Lawson, Alfredo and Jackmaster to their ecstatic crowds at Cabaret Voltaire. Gareth Somerville, Pulse, SLVR and Altitude are just some of the other local favourites who will be coming together with Nightvision to make this New Years Eve celebration one to remember.
