It’s not long before the likes of Dubfire, Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, Loco Dice, Maya Jane Coles, Richie Hawtin, Sasha and Guy Gerber play as part one of the biggest line ups to have ever arrived in Birmingham to celebrate The Rainbow Venues 12th Birthday. The festival dubbed Chapter XII, will be an all day long affair taking place on Saturday March 26th.
It is a widely known fact however from previous years that once the music finishes the party will be far from over, which is why we will be treated to Chapter XII By Night, the official after party following the main part of the festival that will be finishing at midnight. Hosting this particular follow on will be none other than the irreplaceable kingpins of after hours in Barcelona, Elrow. The world renowned party outfit will be hosting a Hot Creations Showcase at a never before used venue, 119 Floodgate Street, which is a mere 1 minute walk from The Rainbow, where the main festivities will be taking place.
Representing the hottest record label donning the new school sound of house, Hot Creations, there will be a rally of its artists who have been heavily featured on the label since its launch. First we have Patrick Topping, the proprietor of last years anthem Forget, before one of the most talented producers from the imprint, wAFF steps up. Infinity Ink will also be performing live and Russ Yallop will also be appearing. As a selection of Hot Creations staple and most exciting artists, this will no doubt be a high energy ride through the night after these guys have all played during the day. Of course, it wouldn’t be Elrow without a selection of their own residents, of whom Marc Maya and Andres Campo will be playing.
As always, Elrow isn’t just about the music. The never before seen or partied in venue will be given the Elrow treatment, meaning you will never see it in the same way again. Expect full floor to the ceiling décor, fancy dress, inflatables and crazy sights you can only see at Elrow. The party will take their popular El Bronx theme, so expect scenes that echo the home of hip-hop, graffiti, break dance and the Mafioso, “as seen through the magical eye of Elrow”.
