After the previous It’s All Gone Pete Tong event was unfortunately cancelled, Tongy is back with a new date at The Warehouse Leeds, this bank holiday weekend on Saturday the 23rd of May.
Pete Tong is a hugely influential name in the dance music scene and is responsible for one of the longest running radio mix shows, which still takes hold of BBC Radio 1 every Sunday morning at 3am. We are of course referring to the seminal Essential Mix series. Pete Tong’s innate knowledge of what’s hot in the dance music world has been demonstrated time after time during his DJ sets and during his Friday evening show on Radio 1. After a number of shows in Leeds that have welcomed himself alongside the likes of Booka Shade, Waifs & Strays, Tensnake and more, Pete Tong has gained a huge liking for the cities superb crowds and has since announced this date as his most recent.
Joining Pete Tong will be one of the most currently in demand house music producers there is. Known for his big bass lines and that tune that ripped up Ibiza all last year is Patrick Topping. Hailing from Newcastle, Patrick first gained momentum with a rally of singles including Walk On, Stop and Get Beasty, which were all released on Jamie Jones’ hugely in fashion Hot Creations imprint, as well as the impressive spin off label, Hot Traxx. It was the 2014 single Forget however, that catapulted Patrick Topping into being one of the hottest names in dance music, as the track was heard absolutely everywhere throughout the summer season in Ibiza and back home in the UK.
Also making an appearance at The Warehouse this Saturday is the female duo Eli & Fur. This pair first made their mark on the music scene in 2012 with their debut single You’re So High, which now boasts over 1 million plays on YouTube and have been dubbed “ones to watch” by both Pete Tong and Beatport. The final addition to the line up is the collaboration of local favourites Ethan Marin and Jesse Lagare. The pair has strong ties with a number of parties in Leeds and run their own series of events in their home country Gibraltar, Cliché.
Early Bird and 1st Release Tickets are now sold out. The last remaining 2nd Release Tickets are on sale now.
