Parisian DJ and producer Tchami will be descending upon Leeds on Friday the 6th of November as Treatment prepare to host a party at The O2 Academy in Leeds.
Hailing from the worldwide capital of love, Tchami is Martin Bresso, who began making music in his early teens. It wasn’t until 2013 however that he received his big break in the form of the Promesses EP, which was released on Fool’s Gold Records; the label owned by fellow musical maestros A-Trak and Nick Catchdubs.
Shot Caller and Promesses, the two singles from his debut EP, which was released for free online, were also released as singles the year after, with the latter being Tchami’s most notable single to date. Promesses featured vocals from Kaleem Taylor and reached the number 2 position on the UK Dance Chart, not to mention number 7 on the overall singles chart. This single has been proceeded by The After Life EP, which features 2 tracks with vocals by Stacy Barthe and once again, Kaleem.
Joining Tchami at The O2 Academy Leeds on October 6th will be Dutch duo Chocolate Puma, the progressive house outfit that have been fronted by the likes of Tiesto and Bingo Players. Having been signed to Spinnin, Parlophone and Incentive, they add further weight to a line up already containing some serious players. Zac Samuel will also be playing as well as Mike Mago, who is showing up for a very special guest appearance.
