The Electric Brixton in London is one of the cities most iconic music venues that has been transformed into a modern musical marvel since the multi million pound refurbishment in 2010. As The Fridge, which moved to the clubs location in 1985, it staged popular synth pop bands like Eurythmics and The Pet Shop Boys, also becoming famous for African nights hosted by Soul II Soul. Through trance nights and hard dance events it became a haven for dance music, and now as Electric Brixton it is a hugely popular club that holds some of todays biggest dance music events that take place in the capital. There are a lot of exciting events coming up in the next few months; from underground revelry to well known performers, it’s all here.

XOYO Loves - Groove Armada & More
Saturday 18th October
XOYO Loves is back again on Saturday the 18th of October, and what better way to make a return to The Electric Brixton than to please us all with the sound of British dance disciples Groove Armada. If you’re not familiar with this duos work we’ll presume you’ve had your head buried in the sand somewhere for the last few decades. With great singles like ‘Superstylin’, ‘Get Down’ and ‘I See You Baby’, the pair put on a wonderfully fun performance, often with an underground twist that demonstrates their versatility. Joining them will be chart topping singer Chris Malinchak as well as Shadow Child, Bodhi and Casino Times.
Saturday 25th October
Tip! The Grammy award winning duo Deep Dish announced they would be reuniting earlier this year, now its almost time for their first and only UK show of the year at The Electric, which will no doubt be an awesome spectacle. On Saturday the 25th of October Dubfire and Sharam will be coming together for their first UK show in 6 years, currently leaving us in an air of superstition as to what their performance will hold. There will also be two special support acts in the form of deep house deviant from Miami, Florida, Danny Daze as well as Ross Evans who’s releases on Saved, Cécille and Leena Music have been championed worldwide.
Tuesday 18th November
The platinum selling number one artist from Canada, Kiesza, is landing in Britain to play at The Electric Brixton on Tuesday the 18th of November to play one of only 2 shows in England during her UK tour that is taking place throughout the next few months. Kiesza is most commonly known for her hook-laden number one single ‘Hideaway’ that went to number 1 in four countries and can still be heavily heard on many radio stations today. This gig coincides with the release of her debut album that hits the shelves just one day before this gig at The Electric Brixton.
Saturday 29th November
After their debut album that is due to be released in October, Flight Facilities will be embarking on a worldwide tour that will see the duo stopping in a number of countries to end up in the UK for a single show at The Electric Brixton. Flight Facilities have been well known in the dance music scene since they started remixing and collaborating with popular voices and artists like Stee Downes, Owl Eyes and Reggie Watts amongst many others. The Australian duo have been working hard compiling their first album, with singles like ‘Claire De Lune’ and ‘Shine A Light’ doing particularly well in charts and on the radio.
