Two London titans will collide on Monday 26th December as Rinse FM takes over Ministry of Sound for a Boxing Day treat. Bringing a vast pool of talent to Ministry’s four rooms, the East London radio station will be flexing its muscles to show why it has been the foremost platform for UK underground music since launching all the way back in 1994.
Starting at the top with the main room lineup, Heartless Crew, Novelist, Abra Cadabra, Zinc & Tipps, Geeneus and more make a formidable team, with further performances from Oneman, P Money, Logan Sama and Flowdan to name but a few. Rinse has made a name for itself as a purveyor of urban sounds, with London-born genres like dubstep, UK garage and grime taking the focus, and that’s reflected in the artists selected for the Boxing Day shenanigans.
Over in room 2, dubstep legend Loefah, “weightless” sculptor Mumdance and MSSINGNO are in the podium positions, whilst Room 3 and Room 4 boast Logos, Mr.Mitch and DJ Ron as a few of the names spread across the two. Arguably as big as it gets for UKG and grime at the moment, the night will ensure that fans of urban music get at least one or two late presents this Christmas.
