Warm up for Mint Festival with The Martinez Brothers

With Mint Festival beginning to appear on the horizon, taking place on Saturday the 20th of September at Lincolnshire Showground, the team at Mint Club have begun to put together a special warm up party featuring a host of guests to help peak your excitement for the festival.

The warm up party will be held on the 24^th of August and as with Mint Club’s usual bank holiday soirees, we will see the event held at Mint Warehouse, opening at 3pm for one of their emphatic terrace parties. The music will boom from the afternoon to the early morning and its three rooms will see an exciting array of big names and local artists spread throughout.

The first to have been announced for this exciting knees up is none other than the brotherly New York duo The Martinez Brothers. Hailing from the Bronx, the pair have held a residency at DC-10 for 4 years, being revered as two of the youngest yet musically innovative faces on the underground scene of today. With an innate energy in their DJ sets, they are experts at guiding a crowd up and down, holding exclusive cuts close to their chests that have not been heard anywhere but from their gear.




With a continuously extensive schedule of tour dates, The Martinez Brothers have been in the booth at many iconic clubs such as Trouw in Amsterdam, Fabric in London and of course at DC-10 in Ibiza for their residency at Circo Loco. It was here I saw the duo close the main room during Circo Loco’s 15^th Anniversary, a performance I still consider to be one of the best I’ve witnessed.

Joining The Martinez Brothers will be a number of guests who are yet to be announced, but you can be sure to expect more of the same calibre as we have seen many times this year already.
