Wilderness will be laying on a further selection of culinary treats at this year’s festival with addition of the all new Kitchen Tales series. The Oxfordshire festival, which runs from the 4th-7th August, will feature a range of long table banquets, feasts and food projects along with appearances from Robert Plant and The Flaming Lips.
The new Kitchen Tales series will be a be housed in a venue dedicated to discussing the art of cooking, with a number of key speakers set to chair and spark the culinary debates. The series will aim to inform and inspire through a range of talks rather than via the usual kitchen demonstration. Kitchen Tales is the brain child of Michelin star chef Angela Harnett who has previously applied her talent to the Wilderness 2015 long table banquet. Further talks will be hosted by a selection of chefs and food enthusiasts appearing at the festival including Virgilio Martinez, Bee Wilson and food waste campaigner Tristram Stuart.
With a love of food from the experimental the extraordinary already well established, Wilderness’ Kitchen Tales series solidifies its place as one of the top festivals for all things music and gastronomy.
